About Us
Our Past
TCC is under the umbrella of Trinity Youth Center LLC which was established in 2009 by Dr. Katrina Cruz, a trained counselor turned educational administrator. Dr. Cruz' focus with the foundation was to provide social emotional supports to children and young adults, overcoming some of life's most challenging experiences such as grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, career exploration, goal setting and self-actualization. With fifteen years experience spanning across the realms of youth trauma therapy, school counseling, school administration, coaching, and research, Dr. Cruz continues her quest to assists youth and families in learning, growing, and succeeding in the areas most important to them, through specified services such as TCC. By joining this community, you are a valued partner in self and community advocacy that will enhance your life and the lives of those who cherish you. Our Present
We are committed to providing youth and family engagement through life coaching, relationship and team building, communication strategies, short and long-term goal setting and execution, as well as student support and advocacy. Our wholistic approach can help parents, youth, or individuals identify roadblocks to their success while countering these obstacles with an individualized roadmap to success. Dr. Cruz will meet with members routinely to assess, assist, and guide participants hand-and-hand along the way to improvement. Interactions with coaching may take place in group or individual sessions. Greater community events hosted by TCC are also offered to members.
Our Future
TCC is already busy at work conducting coaching sessions, small group gatherings, community events, public speaking engagements and much more. We have hosted or partnered in many free community events such as free food giveaways, bounce-house free play for youth, princess parties for young girls, or feed the homeless in our local shelters. However, we strive to continually support our community and aim to provide services that are fluid with the needs of our community members. Be it virtual sessions or face-to-face events, we look forward in providing our presence and expertise; so please contact us to participate in your speaking engagements, community forums, and fun events. It is our goal to build and expand across the nation and abroad.
